Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

NYVRA is a personal health timeline app. SafeSpace is a private peer support community run as an initiative by Nyvra. This policy covers both.

1. Who we are

NYVRA (“Nyvra”, “we”) makes the NYVRA mobile app and this website. SafeSpace, at space.nyvra.life, is an initiative by Nyvra. You can reach us at any time at contact@nyvra.life.

2. Information we process

In the NYVRA app, you choose what to add:

  • Account details such as your email address and sign-in information.
  • Health records you provide: symptoms, medications, cycle events, lab values, observations, questions and original documents or photos.
  • Notes you type or speak to Tell NYVRA. Drafts become records only after you review and confirm them.
  • Optional data you connect, such as Android Health Connect categories you grant, or readings from a paired wearable.
  • Basic technical information, such as app version, device type and sanitised error reports, used to keep the app reliable.

On this website, we do not run advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.

3. How the app stores your records

Your health timeline and imported source files are stored in encrypted app storage on your device, separated by account. Data from a directly paired wearable stays local-first on your device. Nothing is sent to a clinician automatically. A clinician brief is created on your device and leaves NYVRA only when you pick a destination in your system share sheet.

4. Account service and AI features

Sign-in is handled by our account service. When you use Ask NYVRA, lab extraction, or Tell NYVRA parsing that needs a model, the relevant text is sent through our authenticated server to an AI provider so it can respond. Requests are configured not to be stored as response objects. Please do not include identifiers you do not want processed. AI output is not medical advice, and you should check extracted values against your original document.

5. Voice and permissions

Microphone, camera and photo access are optional and used only when you choose to speak a note, photograph a report or import an image. We do not keep audio as a health record. You can revoke any permission in your device settings.

6. SafeSpace

SafeSpace is invitation-only and runs on WhatsApp. When you tap “Message our team”, WhatsApp opens with our team number and a short starter message. What you share after that is handled through WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that service. We use your phone number and what you tell us only to talk with you and, if you wish, add you to the private group.

The SafeSpace website does not ask for health records and does not collect your phone number. Members are asked not to share other people's personal information in the group. SafeSpace is peer support, not medical advice.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal health information. We share information only with service providers that host, secure or operate the app for us under confidentiality and security obligations, when you tell us to, or when the law requires it.

8. Your choices

  • Correct or remove any entry in the app.
  • Delete local health data from Settings in the app, at any time.
  • Permanently delete your account and server-side account data from Settings, or by following the steps on our data deletion page.
  • Leave SafeSpace whenever you like and ask us to remove the conversation we hold with you.
  • Ask us for access to, or a copy of, information we hold about you.

9. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove server-side account data, except where we must keep limited records for legal or security reasons. Records stored only on your device are removed when you delete local data or uninstall the app.

10. Children

NYVRA and SafeSpace are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. International processing

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. We choose providers that apply safeguards consistent with this policy.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or on this site before it takes effect.
